Free Trial Policy
At DioDIY, we aim to build strong and meaningful relationships with our customers. This Free Trial Policy outlines the terms and conditions of our free trial service to ensure transparency and a smooth experience for all participants. By joining the free trial program, customers acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy. DioDIY reserves all rights to interpret, modify, or terminate this policy at our discretion.
1. About the Free Trial Service
Our free trial service is designed to foster closer connections between our brand and music lovers. Customers have the opportunity to try our speakers worry-free. If they choose to return the product, they will receive a full refund of the deposit. If they decide to keep the product, they can purchase it at a discounted price as a token of our appreciation. Please note that this service applies only to speakers, not to speaker components or accessories.
2. About the Process
The free trial service follows a straightforward process:
- Select the Product: Add a speaker labeled "Free Trial" to your cart and place your order by paying the deposit.
- Try the Product: Enjoy a 14-day trial period from the date of delivery.
- Make Your Decision: On the last day of the trial period, you will receive an email to finalize your decision. You have 48 hours to respond.
- Complete the Process: Pay the remaining balance to keep the product or return it in its original condition for a full refund.
Only speakers are eligible for the free trial service; speaker components are excluded from this offer.
3. About Eligibility
Our free trial service is available to all customers, except under the following conditions:
- Accounts classified as fraudulent by Shopify or DioDIY.
- Customers who have already benefited from the free trial service for the same product (each customer is eligible only once per product).
- Special circumstances determined by DioDIY at our discretion.
4. About Limitations
Each product has a limited number of units available for free trial each month. Currently, only five (5) units per product per month are allocated for the free trial service, and it is available exclusively to US customers. As our business grows, the number of units and eligible locations may increase, but for now, availability is limited to ensure fairness.
5. About the Price
Customers who purchase a product through the free trial service enjoy a discounted price. The total cost, which includes the deposit and the balance payment, will be lower than the standard retail price.
6. About Keeping the Product
Once we receive the customer’s confirmation to keep the product, an invoice will be sent for the remaining balance. Customers must pay within 7 days of receiving the invoice. If payment is not made within the 7-day window, a second reminder email will be sent. Failure to pay within another 7 days may result in the customer being added to a fraud list, potentially restricting future purchases with DioDIY.
7. About Returns and Refunds
Our customer service team will guide customers through the return and refund process. A full refund will be issued within 10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product.
Customers may not be eligible for a full refund if:
- The product is not returned in its original packaging.
- Components are missing.
- The product is damaged.
- Other circumstances impact its resale condition.
In such cases, DioDIY will deduct a reasonable amount from the deposit to cover the loss, and the remaining balance will be refunded to the customer’s original payment method within 10 business days after the invoice for charges is sent.
Acceptance of Terms
By joining the free trial program, customers confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this policy. DioDIY reserves all rights to interpret, modify, or terminate this policy at any time.
